This story is simply an exciting read. Though this book takes the character up to an op level of infinity by the end of the book, it was still always filled with plenty of suspense. The only reason I would rate this 4 stars rather than the 5 it deserves is the disjointed parts of the book that really left me scratching my head, wondering what happened in the intermission that was definitely skipped over. Now these bits might definitely come back during later parts of the series and be explained, and some may be explained in other side stories that seem to be coming alongside this story, (such as Reina\’s Story that is linked at the end of the book) but I personally found these little bits of cliff hanger or even just skipped segments for expediency, quite jarring. I love finding little connecting easter eggs and secrets linking one book to another, or parts of the story together, but in this book there are just some times when I found myself actually lost as far as what just happened, because entire segments were skipped and it seemed like I really missed something important, that simply wasn\’t there. Other than that, the story was fantastic! Torga had some major breakthroughs in power levels, his control of his condition, and simply his own ability to function as an independent thinking creature (which he thoroughly struggles with throughout this book).

Short straight forward. MC is over powered but still enjoyable. I\’m dad there\’s not much interaction with his wife. At the start… There\’s a time skip… Can\’t tell if 18 months……or 10 years. Meh. Still was a fun read. Finished both books bc of the fun ride in <12 hours. Hope there\’s a book 3….

Audiobook A Snake’s Life by Kenneth Arant
Don\’t think I will continue with this story unless it\’s on the unlimited list of books. The author has added some really interesting plot lines in this book. However the fact that the book is 5 bucks and only 290 pages is a bit disappointing. Especially when you count the filler pages at the back and before the book that\’s about 30 pages just filled with nonsense to increase the page count.

Audio A Snake’s Life narrated by Travis Baldree
I would love to read more of this. The story and world is cool. Yggdrasil, world tree stuff. It goes to God mode fast in this book because of Torgas evolution. Hard to put down once you start reading. Whish for more but the story and ending is well done. It\’s also nice to read a serie that actually has an ending and not a continuous story which stops either because the author runs out of ideas or the fan base stops caring. Recommend this book.

I really enjoyed the book. It\’s a popcorn book for sure, exciting and absurdly fast-paced. If you\’re into OP snakes doing snake things, you won\’t be disappointed. I only have two cons: – The book is very short – I expected certain things to take much longer, so some payoffs weren\’t quite as satisfying as they could have been At the end of the day, I rate books based on the enjoyment factor and I had a lot of fun reading this book.
