ALL THE KING’S MEN AUDIOBOOK
Willie Stark the man who helps everyone in the novel is an imitation of a true politician named Huey Pierce Long. It is the rise and fall of Willie that keeps all of the fans linked to the story. We cannot say that the man was a noble one from the inside because most of the steps which he took were for the sake of favors. The way he used to talk to others was so charming that no one was able to resist the attraction.

It was because of this attraction he had several scandals with women of the time. Sudden rise in the political career also gave Willie the gift of a lot of enemies who were also in search of any weak link that they might be able to find in Willie’s career.
Robert Penn Warren has written everything very carefully as one wrong or non-serious piece of information could have spoiled the entire show. One who narrated Four Blind Mice and Legends II, Volume Three before this one had no problems in this novel too.

It’s Michael Emerson who has narrated this novel with a lot of confidence. The title of the book is borrowed from a poem and it depicts the fact that everyone needs help at times. Those who provide help can also use this opportunity for their benefit as well. Though the story is about the political world it does not possess any hidden or tricky things. It is written simply like a history book in which the name of the characters is new. The name of the places and the era is approximately the same.
