BRIDESHEAD REVISITED AUDIOBOOK
The author of the novel i.e Evelyn Waugh has divided the story of this novel into three parts and it is more like three different portions of Charles Ryder’s life. In the beginning, Charles is painted as a boy who is studying at a university at Brideshead. Here the boy makes a lot of friends and meets one or two homosexuals too which he never knew existed. In the house of a Catholic Family, Charles also finds love but soon he is called back by his father who lives alone after the death of his wife.
BRIDESHEAD REVISITED
Together the father and son have long chats that are very interesting for the listeners. Charles is called back to Brideshead when his friend gets injured and later there is a lot of talk about Sebastian and his bad drinking habits. Sebastian’s mother tries to force her son to quit drinking but she fails in a bad way.
Meanwhile, Julia also marries a man without much investigation, and later it is revealed that the man was married in Canada before this. The entire family shifts from Brideshead after that and vows that no one will return to this place again. Charles gets a job in the army during the war and at this point, he gets the chance to return to Brideshead once again.

The place was a mess because of the war but still, Charles possessed the old memories in his mind. Put Out More Flags and Scoop are not the same in storyline also the narration of Jeremy Irons has set a high standard here which is just unmatchable. The way the narrator has narrated different eras is just mind blowing.
