Whenever a listener gets a book with Stephen King’s name printed on it he should, first of all, prepare his mind for thoughts that would be out of this world. Stephen does not talk about the world as it is, rather the author has his world where the sun shines a little differently. One who gets into this mesmerizing world cannot leave until he is permitted by the author himself.
LISEY’S STORY
Lisey is the novel spent twenty-five years with her husband and although her husband was a very good novelist the relation between the couple never remained ideal. On most occasions, they used to fight on small issues which could have been left aside or neglected. No, when Lisey’s husband is gone she wants to know more about his secret life.
Her husband used to go to a place called Boo’ya Moon, it is from this place the man used to get all the inspiration for his work. His novels had those magical stories because of this strange place that only his wife knows about. Now Lisey wants to visit the place so that she can feel the darkness on her own. As Lisey enters the place she is just stunned because she wasn’t expecting such a scenario.

Like The Stand and The Dark Tower II entering the place was in the hands of the main character and leaving it was in the hands of fate. It is Mare Winningham that narrates the shadowy world created by Stephen King on this occasion. Not a lot of dead bodies and killing are involved in the tale and still, it is one of those stories which will pinch your mind at night.
