Time is a funny thing. We always think we have time, and then we open our eyes and wonder where it all went.

This is what I look for in Lexi Blakes storiesthe hidden wisdom (an Easter egg if you will)spoken through the character, but meant for the reader. Sighs.
Lost in You is the third installment of Lexi Blakes The Forgotten series and focuses on Lost Boy Robert McClellan and the love story between him and psychotherapist Ariel Adisa. As with all of the books in this series, it is not a standalone. Any reader new to the series is well advised to read (at the very least) the two prior The Forgotten novels. Ive read all of Lexis fabulous Masters & Mercenaries series, and even with all that, it took me a good thirty percent of the book before I could settle in and just read the story. And this story is one great ride!
Both Robert and Ariel are well-writtenthe reader gets into their heads quickly. The story is full of action and packed with some serious espionage thrill. Characters from Dallas and London return to aid Robert and Adisa, and finally, one huge secret is revealed (my lips are sealed). My only disappointment is the way it endedwithout spoiling, let me say that I felt there was more to Roberts story that should have played out in this book.
Lexi Blake fans will love this installment. I certainly did.

Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten Book 3, as usual with this series, there are plot threads carrying over from the earlier books, so I recommend reading at least the previous books in the series first, with bonus points for reading some of the later original Masters and Mercenaries series as characters and events do carryover from there as well.
I love this authors characters and all the relationships they have going on, not only with the other main character, but the multitude of intriguing secondary characters as well. I was curious about how Ariel was going to transition from being Roberts therapist to being his sub, as it seemed to me it would require quite an attitude shift, but I thought the author did a good job giving her a variety of conflicting feelings, not just there but also including secrets about her past and current mission. It helped that those conflicts were balanced out by Roberts own conflicts, such as his loyalty to his fellow Lost Boys versus the gratitude he feels towards Damon and Ian Taggert, or how drawn he is to Ariel while being concerned with her safety at his hands. It was satisfying to finally see them get together after the build up of the previous books, even as circumstances kept trying to force them apart.
As for the secondary characters, we get to see more of Kim Solomon here, and get more hints of what shes been doing behind the scenes to keep her ex safetheir story is another one I cant wait to get my hands on. There are reappearances of loved and not-so-loved characters, and a few new characters introduced as well, all having their part to play in the story.
Speaking of story, the mystery/suspense elements are always handled well by this author, with so many twists I dont even usually bother to try to figure out whats really going on any moreand there were some dizzying turns in this storyline. So, okay, I couldnt resist speculating on who the traitor was (Ive had a favorite candidate since book 1), but even there the author threw in a twist I didnt expectand made it a particularly heartbreaking twist at that.
With a rollercoaster of emotion and suspense (at one point, I went from tears to laughter in a few paragraphshow does she manage to DO that so well?), I found this story particularly heartbreaking and then I was Omg, omg, TUCKERS STORY IS NEXT! Yeah, I might be a little excited about that. But five months? I guess Ill finally have a chance to go back and read those original Masters and Mercenaries stories that I missed. 5+ stars

Audiobook Lost in You (Masters & Mercenaries: The Forgotten #3) by Lexi Blake
It took me long enough to read this one. Not because it didnt keep my attention, but because life happens, and some times you dont get to do what you love. I never get tired of reading a Maters and Mercenaries book, whichever series is out.
Robert, Ariel, and the Lost Boys are a family and wherever they go I am right behind them reading about it. This time questions and the driven force for answers took them to Germany. There was never a dull moment with this family of hunted lost men who just want their lives and memories back. In the mist of staying out of sight, interviewing the past, and arguing amongst themselves; Robert and Ariel were still able to carve out time for a little hand cuffs and spankings.
This book had it all!! There was lying, killing, stealing, lock picking, some old fashion explosives, great butt kicking women shooting and fighting, it was just sexy action through and through. Even Levi, Kim, and Ezra, dropped in for a little threesome Tom Foolery and Mayhem. When they arrive, yes those word choices need to be capitalized.
It was really an all time family affair and you shouldnt miss it. I hate I didnt stop everything I was doing immediately to read it. I wont make that mistake again.

LOST IN YOU (TABULA RASA) Book 3
Lexi Blake
Any time one of the Lost Boys had a glimmer of memory, Eve had known. She erased them again and had them punish each other. Now that she is dead, they are tightly knit and Robert is their leader. They are in Germany trying to find key people to interview, hoping to cast some light on each identity so they can start real lives again. Ariel is their therapist. McKay-Taggart knows they have a double agent among them and hope this simple job will expose him. A surprise guest upsets one and all. Secrets are revealed and plans are made. By the way, Robert is a very inventive Dom, but I still don’t get the appeal of spanking. Sorry. Oh! Spoiler alert! Cliffhanger.

Another extremely well-written book by Ms Blake in this series, it involves not only the main characters of the Lost Boys but the Mckay Taggart team from both the UK and USA, CIA operatives past and present, and a couple of additions that will make you sit up and listen.
In the third book, we find out just who the mole in the Lost Boys is and where people’s loyalties really lie.
We also lose two of the lads, although I won’t spoil it for you by telling you who, as a third goes into a coma.
The twists in this story run thick and fast and it’s a great fast-paced gallop to the finish line! I’d recommend it to all Lexi Blake fans and many others!
