This series was so much fun to read. Incredible writing. The characters are lovable and courageous warriors that you root for. The numerous banter between them, the relationships both personal and professional that develop are heartwarming. The plots are solid and surprise you with unpredictability. You cant even imagine whats going to happen next. Imagery is expansive and as always with excellent descriptive writing it creates a vivid movie in your mind. What a treat. I read the series over several days one book after another. I didnt want it to end. I cant wait for the next books to be written. This level of writing talent and imagination it requires awes me. Cant recommend enough. I am going to read every other book. They feed my minds hunger for literary adventure and satisfy completely.

Magic Ops (Federal Agents of Magic #1) audiobook in series Federal Agents of Magic Series
A good series. Had some moments where I wished things would pick up, but the building suspense, growth of the team, and the fact that I liked the characters and was glad that they did not all die horrible deaths helped me overlook my need for constant action. Diana, Cara, Bryant and Rath were definitely my favorites, but surprisingly, Nylotte made the list too. That Drow and her allegiance to Diana definitely surprised me, but in a good way. I really didn\’t expect her to be an ally given the initial introduction, however, I liked how their relationship evolved. Either way, the team did not always win every skirmish, but did succeed when it really counted. There were some arcs that I\’m not are closed so hopefully, those get addressed in future books.

Audiobook Magic Ops (Federal Agents of Magic #1) by Martha Carr Michael Anderle TR Cameron
Probably the best series I\’ve read in a long, long time!! I usually don\’t care for the (as I call them) \”shoot em up bang bang\”s, but this was so well written that it kept my attention through every bit of it! Great characters, wonderfully engaging descriptions of magic, great humor and a realness that had me very upset to reach the end of this box set. Can\’t wait to join this group of folks again. Keep writing these PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Audio Magic Ops (Federal Agents of Magic #1) narrated by Traci Odom
Read this after reading the follow on series with Cali in New Orleans. I like the way these authors invest in world-building, of team building, of working with characters whose varying skills build to make the sum greater than the parts. At first i thought Rath was Leira\’s buddy, but then i figured that might be part of the plan. I liked the somewhat conflicted Nylotte, and would love to get her backstory. As of right now, i\’d probably read anything by these 3 authors. I\’d encouage you to take a chance on them.

Always plenty of action with multiple story lines. In typical \”space opera\” style some of the details get a bit sketchy but things are moving quickly so you don\’t dwell on it. Definitely a page turner – a phrase I seldom use in a review.
