Cat Glamour is back in this awesome sequel! Shes here and ready to help her family as her sister has a big texting addiction, her niece has fallen in with the wrong crowd and her 94 year old grandma is a tv reality star, filled with sass! Check this book out (after reading Strangely Incredibly Good first!) and fall in love with adventuring around in France with three generations of women as they find themselves and Gene.

I always worry with sequels, hoping they can stand up to the first one. This did not disappoint! I loved being back in Cats world. Heather Grace Stewart beautifully wrote about some tough subjects but handles them in the perfect way. Not getting too heavy and still allowing for comic relief!

This is the second and conclusion of a two book series (Strangely, Incredibly Good was the first book). I recommend both books.

Cat’s life was stuck in a rut, as a struggling mom with weight issues. All that changed one day when she purchased a used Wii machine and a genie popped out.

The story involves time travel and in my opinion the plot is arranged perfectly and all questions you might have from the first book are answered in the second. The characters are well developed and you care deeply about them from the start of the book. The book has sadness as well as laugh out loud moments.

You might think that having a genie and falling in love with him would make the character’s life easier to live, but that isn’t the case, but as in all romance books, things find a way to work out and have a happily ever after ending. (I did check mark no violence, there is one scene with a bit, but it is done in a funny way, and I would not consider it violent.)

Audiobook Remarkably Great (Strangely, Incredibly Good #2) by Heather Grace Stewart

I read lots of books. I love to read, but not all books are great.Once in a while you find a gem.In this case, two gems, since this is a sequel of “Strangely, incredibly good”, which I also read and deserved the same high quality review. Well written, correctly edited, masterfuly crafted story, where the characters are people like you and me, normal, conflicted, addicted (to food, to electronics) who feel they are in a no-exit situation, only to find out that there is always an open door to become more mature, to grow, to improve, to love …The kind of book that you remember with a smile, because it reminds you not just of the story you read but of the thoughts and feelings that it provoked in you. As for the story, I know that if you read it you will enjoy it. Five stars well deserved, but I would have given it ten, if there were that many for a review.

Heather Grace Stewart has this delicious voice that sings in her writing. Remarkably Great is every bit as fun and interesting as Strangely, Incredibly Good. If you are looking for something to make you giggle, sigh, swoon and smile, this is your book! Cat Glamour is quirky and manages to get herself into all sorts of situations that usually leave me in fits of laughter. Her wacky, lovable Grandma is also back – more lively than ever. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows throughout as it does touch on several serious issues we all face at one time or another. I think it helps to ground the book even more but also realize there is light at the end of the tunnel! Her characters are well developed and what’s more important is she makes you care about each and every one of them! Don’t worry if you have not read Strangely, Incredibly Good – Remarkably Great stands on its own, but seriously, because the first book is super fun – you will WANT to read that too. 🙂
READ this book! You won’t regret it!
