The only reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of one is because the suspense and bad guy were really well written. I didn’t cheat to find out who it was, although I had suspicions, and was delightfully surprised. This book is supposed to be a crossover, but really it only was about a country singer that we saw for one scene in a previous lexi blake book and one of the member of McKay/Taggart team who wasn’t even the focus of the book. I felt cheated after reading this, it had very little to do with the M&M series and yet it’s labeled a crossover?
The main characters and their love is well written, although their love scenes are sweet instead of passion filled that I’ve gotten use to from the M&M series. Wade was given a bad wrap in this book and I hope that Ms. Blake gives him his own story since he was only brought in just to give credence to “crossover”. I feel like I read a STRICTLY Corinne Michaels book who ripped off a character from Lexi’s series. I know it’s a fiction novel, but I feel bad for Wade’s character and somehow feel that he was cheated out of his own story and HEA. Buy it so you have the whole series or if you are a fan of Ms. Michaels, but don’t buy it if you are looking for anything from Ms. Blake aside from one random character and a glimpse of another who had no purpose being in this story to begin with

This book is terrible. The point of a crossover is to combine characters from two series and get into the world and characters created by the author youre attempting to merge with. I will never read a book by this author. Her female lead, Emily, is just plain stupid. This book annoyed the hell out of me. I purchased it because I read the MM series by Lexi Blake and Emily was a brief character in the MM Top series and with Wade in another book. I did not expect Emily to be so needy, whiny, and just plain stupid. This author also used a Lexi Blake character just to say shed written a MM crossover. The love scenes lacked passion and most of the time I felt like I was reading a teen holding hands and making out series. I almost wanted the bad guy to grab Emily and do away with her so I didnt have to continue to read the crying, whining and weakness. Its too bad I try and finish every book no matter how bad. Wish I wasnt wired that way or I wouldve deleted this from my Kindle before finishing it. Though that is now corrected because I deleted and after I post this review will forget about this author. To the author….you had an opportunity to gain a loyal reader but with this terrible attempt of a crossover with MM and the weak ass plot and characters all youve done is ensure that Ill never read another word written by you. Too bad I cant rate this book with negative stars or I wouldve given you a MINUS FIVE STAR REVIEW.

Audiobook Say You Won’t Let Go (Return to Me #3.5) by Corinne Michaels
Say You Wont Let Go is the reason I found Lexi Blake. I heard about this crossover last year and wanted to have an understanding of the Masters and Mercenaries world, so I picked up my first Lexi Blake book, and my obsession began. Ive loved Corinne Michaels writing for a while, and I knew Cooped needed his story told and Im happy to have finally experienced his happy ending.
Say You Wont Let Go is book 3.5 in Corinne Michaels Return to Me series and falls along the same timeline as Lexi Blakes sixteenth book in her Masters and Mercenaries series. This novella can be read as a standalone. Say You Wont Let Go is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Emily and Cooper.
Im so happy that Cooper finally found happiness of his own. For so long hed been living with whatever situation hed been forced into and, because he is such a stand-up guy, he shouldered the responsibility and made sure everyone else was taken care of as best he could. Him finally taking the reins, shirking an iota of duty, and going after what he wanted was sublime.
I loved Cooper and Emily together. Having seen them throughout the other books in Ms. Michaels series gave me added insight into who they were and what their chemistry was like, and Im thankful for that. I appreciated their quick jump into love more because I knew them better than I had the other characters in this crossover.
The plot of Say You Wont Let Go was intense and compelling; both in terms of building Emily and Coopers relationship and the situation for which Emily required a bodyguard. I needed to know how far her stalker would go, why he was so obsessed, and who he was. At one point I was sure Id figured it out but was completely off base.
My biggest wish for this book is that it had been more inclusive of Lexi Blakes world. The character from her series is a great supporting character, where I would have loved to have seen him be a main character. We barely got to know him at all and, except for being employed by McKay-Taggart, the ties to that world were tenuous at best. I was also left without much closure on one of the major storylines and wish it had been fully fleshed out.
Corinne Michaels is one of my go-to authors. Ive read all of her published work and love her writing style. She stories are always emotionally charged and include real-life issues. Its because of inclusion of those issues I feel like her books are always relatable. Not everything is always sunshine and roses, and her writing reflects the real world pain people have to deal with.

Audio Say You Won’t Let Go (Return to Me #3.5) narrated by Andi Arndt Sebastian York
Do yall remember Cooper? I mean how could you not, right?!? He has that Southern charm, that could make all the girls come to the yard. Well…Cooper has been delivered to our fingertips, and definitely does not disappoint.
Emily and Cooper are quite the pair. Both working on opposite sides of the spectrum. But quite the pair, nonetheless. I loved their intimacy and also their vulnerabilities. We witness a wonderful friendship blossom into more. The more hits all the right feels. Guys, these two. Gahh! Its like perfection.
The suspense aspect in this book, was exactly how I hoped it would be. Its not overly done. Its mixed in just how it needs to be. I enjoyed seeing how this little twist would play out. And Ill add that I was quite surprised in the end.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this quick little read. It had the spice. It had the fun. It had some great suspense. It also had some ohhh la la moments, too. In typical CM fashion, her story had me smiling from ear to ear and fanning myself, due to the little saucy parts.

Really enjoyed Cooper and Emilys story. Cooper and Emily have been friends for years as shes one of his sisters best friends. Hes liked her for a while but was too scared to say anything and be rejected. Emily is a singer, thats all shes every wanted to be, she couldnt wait to leave their little town and pursue her dreams. Things change when Cooper turns up at one of her concerts, they have loads of fun together and they realise they both have feelings for each other. This is a much shorter story than the others, but its still full of action and emotion.
