A wedding for a woman is the most important thing in her life, this is one day a woman feels quite special about herself. Sophie who happens to be an Irish immigrant it is all about survival so she does not possess any romantic thoughts about the wedding. Without seeing the face of the man and knowing anything about him she just agrees to marry him because he was providing her shelter. The man was a widower and had a five year old daughter named Kat. Some people around Sophie thought that she had made a difficult decision but she was quite satisfied with her wedding.

Her husband was an attractive looking man and his daughter was quite a beautiful silent creature. Sophie developed an affection for both of them but something wasn’t right about her husband because he seemed to remain quiet most of the time and he was hiding some sort of secrets that he didn’t want to share.
Susan Meissner adds more to the suspense of the story when Sophie finds out about two women that are somehow connected to her husband. One of them comes to her doorstep and she looks pregnant from appearance, the second one is waiting for Kate’s husband in grief.

Alana Kerr Collins and Jason Culp have narrated the story of these three women who just cannot believe that they are joined to each other through fate. A Fall of Marigolds and As Bright as Heaven were the best produced by the author but this one changes everything. This book can be considered as the top ranked book among author’s other works.
