Seeing “The End” I feel like I’m losing a piece of me. The Badlands series has been a favorite of mine since Savages came out. It introduced me to my love of dark romance and gave me all the tingles I needed with each man. Cobra was no different. Cobra has led a very long and hard life. They all have, but Cobra’s touched me a bit more. We left off with Romero trading Blue for information. We start a few weeks later with Blue still missing and Cobra sinking further into the darkness. A lot happens in this book, a lot. While I’m sad to see them go, I’m happy to see the next generation.
Cobra fulfills all your dark needs. He is definitely hiding a ton of crap, but never hides who he is and what he wants. Which I love him for. Blue isn’t as sweet and innocent as you believe. She’s got a monster living under her skin and I wish we could have seen it more!
Natalie Bennett is, by far, one of my top three favorite authors. Heathens was fast paced but left me content knowing all these dark savages got their girl and lived to tell about it.

This crew of bad boy killers are Savages … Deviants … Outcasts and Heathens. They are thugs…at least appear to be. When its survival of the fittest, wouldnt you want to be at the top? I know I would. The difference with this crew? When they love, they love hard. When they find that other half, there is nothing they wont do to protect her. Cobra is a red headed, tatted up God that had my heart beating a mile a minute. When he saw Blue, a broken down shell of a woman, he knew he was done for. The problem is, Vitus has her and wont let her go. Hes going to use and abuse her to the best of his ability. Will Blue be able to escape, or will Cobra come breaking down doors to find her?
I swear, this series is at the top of my dark thriller books. Natalie has climbed all the way up with these books. I am never left wondering, but reeling. I always get so anxious when waiting for her beauties to be released. I already need Degenerates, and its coming in a few months!! Do yourself a favor and add this Badlands series to your TBR.

Audiobook Heathens (Badlands #4) by Natalie Bennett
Book 4 in the Badland series and it wraps up this series, while setting up for the new one coming in 2019.
This is story of Cobra and Blue. Like all the characters in these book, they arent perfect. They are flawed, they have done things they are not proud off, but needed to be done in order to survive. That is what makes these books and characters so interesting.
And I just love Natalie Bennetts reading style. It is almost poetic. It just has this amazing flow.
There are so many lines I love in this book but this was one of my favorite I had crippled wings and a splintered halo. My soul had turned a little blacker than Id like to admit, but my heart was still solid gold.

Audio Heathens (Badlands #4) narrated by Elizabeth Clark
After reading the other 3 couldnt wait to read Cobra & Blue’s story. Felt like something was missing from it. Wasnt enough of them together, figuring each other out. We didnt learn about much about their past, the sex was boring. Just overall was seriouly disapointed. I want more, closed the book feeling like alot was missing from their story.

except for cover and this page. Didnt show up on my IPad or Kindle. Though I got an email saying it had been delivered, it does not show in my digital orders either. Its probably a good book, they usually are but I may never know.
