The story was nice, but the narrator was awful. Her voice was weak and her vocal fry was like nails on a chalkboard. She did not do well with accents and different voices, thus taking me out of the story.

I loved the story because.. London, Jem, Tessa… But do these narrators do no research into the most widely accepted or used accents for recurring characters? Katerina has an accent that sounds as though it were from the West Indies or maybe even Spain. The narrator did American accents at first until she appeared to recall that background characters should have British accents.
