I received an alert from audible informing me that another book had been released by one of my favorite authors. I purchased the book without a second thought only to find that it was more like a study of the history of this genre and a look into the inspiration for the Mortal Instruments series. Not what I wanted and really sorry I bought it.

Super boring. I really wish I had not spent money on this. for me it was a huge waste of time. When I bought this I was expecting more info about the characters not a college like lecture.
