Skyward is the opening title of the Skyward novel series. It is a teen and young adult fiction novel which is written by Brandon Sanderson. He is a notable figure within the American writers’ fraternity having an interest in the science fiction and epic fantasy genres. His Cosmos fictional universe rose to fame in quick time and made many fans as well. A couple of amazing series of the author is set in that universe where The Stormlight Archive and Mistborn are the most renowned ones. Among his best novels, Words of Radiance is one of them. Lux is another iconic novel by the author that you must read.

The audio narration of this novel is done by Suzy Jackson. It was a good narration and you will find her performance to be quite well paced with no issues at all.
The entire world of Spensa was under attack for quite many years. The pilots are considered to be the heroes now from whatever is left behind in the human race. TO be one of those was always one of the key dreams of Spena. She was just a young little girl. She imagined spiraling skyward and to prove her bravery. However, her fate got intertwined with that of her father. He was himself a pilot who got killed many years ago. All this happened when he deserted his team quite abruptly. This made any chances of Spensa about attending the flight school quite low.

This book is apt for the younger audience including adults. Especially, the younger lot will be obsessed with the story and the characters of this book. The easy narration made this novel quite easy to follow for the listeners.
