The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
Charles Stransky has narrated this book while the introductory part is done by Patrick Lencioni himself. The narration of the book was wonderfully done and you will have a good time listening to the career-shaping content.
The author of this book started things by telling a story of a woman who was the CEO of a struggling company in Silicon Valley. She took charge of a dysfunctional executive committee and helped all of its members to succeed as a whole team. The author also offered his audience explicit instructions for the sake of overcoming the tendencies of human behavior. The author argues that several things lead to corrupt teams which could be the absence of trust, avoidance of accountability, lack of commitment, and inattention to the results. This guide is laconic but sympathetic. It will be going to be a book for all of those who struggle with the many inherited troubles associated with leading a group.
