THE LANGUAGE OF THORNS AUDIOBOOK
Magical worlds should have a mesmerizing impact otherwise no one is interested in listening to the stories with magic involved. The author’s creative genius can produce such stuff because it is all about imagining things that are not present in the real world. Leigh Bardugo is one of those authors that can capture the mind and soul of the listener through his stories.
THE LANGUAGE OF THORNS
The stories are decorated with multiple things like myths, ancient legends, and of course magic as well. In this particular book, the author has not written one long story rather the author has added multiple short stories in this book. This makes it more interesting because those who are busy with their work all the time can listen to these short stories now and then whenever they have the time.
Every story has something related to the myths of the past but it is not direct. For example, there is an introduction to a young mermaid but she is not connected to “Siren” rather her voice can bring storms just like the gods and goddesses. Magical seas and the beasts rocking the land decorate other short stories. Thus it is not like Shadow and Bone and Siege and Storm that would describe the story of one hero who is on an epic mission.

There is a variety in this book because of which it was hard for Lauren Fortgang to get hold of all the characters at the same time through narration. Narration is clear and accurate but in some stories, the voice was not correctly matched with the characters because there were too many of them for one narrator.
