Oh Nora, how Ive missed you.
Its best to review The Last Good Knight as one complete volume, for to review each installment would give away too many spoilers and I dont want to give a single thing away, this is just too good to do that to you!
The Last Good Knight takes place three years before The Siren and chronicles the brief relationship, for lack of a better term, between Nora and a patron she meets at the Eighth Circle, Lance, a former Navy SEAL. Lance is a new employee of Kingsleys and is checking out the facilities available for his use while in Kingsleys employ as head of security. It is there that he meets Mistress Nora, whom is just in the club looking for a good time, which is what she hopes to do with the submissive Simone, until Sren comes in and steals her away from Nora to have some fun of his own. When it becomes clear that Sren has exercised RHIP (rank has its privileges) and leaves with Simone, Nora hits on Lance and takes him away to her private dungeon and begins an amazing night of debauchery, until they are quickly interrupted by Sren with news that one of their own has been attacked and Kingsley has called a meeting of all his female staff.

The next day, Nora finds out that Lance has been assigned as her bodyguard until the culprit in the attack has been apprehended, and unfortunately, Kingsley has a strict no fraternization policy between employees. So despite the chemistry between her and Lance, and the contact between them, they must keep their hands off each other. This leads to the two of them learning about each other and revelations are made about Lances past. Nora is intrigued by Lance and decides she wants to help right some of the wrongs and must do so at the same of any future the two might have together.
The Last Good Knight is a sweet story of ill-timed opportunity due to consequences beyond their control, wrapped up in some epic steaminess. Ms. Reisz does not disappoint in creating characters with chemistry along with shared history that is easily felt in the interactions between them. While the story involves characters that have been well documented in the series of Original Sinners novels, novellas, and short stories, The Last Good Knight could easily be read as a standalone if you are interested in getting an introduction to this series. Ill be honest and say this is probably my most favorite series in this genre and I am in absolute love/lust with all of the characters that are along for the journey.
It goes without saying that this is a five star read for me. The story is told in five short volumes that can easily be spent in the span of a lazy afternoon or to heat up a cold spring night. I mean, whats not to love, a pint sized dominatrix, a great Dane, and a hot SEAL, sounds like the recipe for a winner to me (or porn of a completely different kind). And indeed Ms. Reisz, God bless the US Navy (however I would really like to find out at what point they learn to fold their clothes like Lance didmy sailor seems to have missed that evolution.)

Audiobook The Last Good Night (The Last Good Knight #5) by Tiffany Reisz
As a huge fan of Tifanny Reiszs Original Sinner series, I always enjoy reading anyting related to it. So it was a joy to return to this series with this first book of this OS novella serial.
This first book has what I expected from a Reisz book: humor, wit, and of course kink. The writing is as good as I thought it would be and I expect the same quality to be present in the rest of the books of the series.
As being the intro into the series, this book focuses on our favorite Dominatrix, Nora, meeting the handsome, funny, ex-Navy SEAL male submissive Lance. I enjoyed the chemistry they had together. Noras witty, feisty dominance went so well with Lances precision order-taking submission. Not only did it make for a hot and kinky interlude, you also got a good grasp of Lances personality which I believe would play out further in subsequent books.
Overall this was a fun introduction to the series. Although it only gave you a small piece of the main plot (which occurred towards the end) probably having the second book, Sore Spots, to elaborate on it, this book let you get reacquainted with Nora and all her awesomeness while meeting a new player to the scene. It also didnt hurt that you got some kinky sex out of it too.

Tiffany Riesz does not disappoint. This was the hottest 31 pages I have ever read. Love that it is a little side bar during the sinners series. Love Mistress Nora and her session with Lance
