INVINCIBLE AUDIOBOOK
Christopher G. Nuttall has been able to keep a great sequence between these parts. Although keeping a sequence in long series is most of the time not possible but it was not of many difficulties for Christopher. Ralph Lister’s narration also kept the listeners engaged with the thing and it didn’t allow us to feel any change in the series. In the previous part The Cruel Stars an ancient alien race decided to come down on the humans with full force.
INVINCIBLE
At this stage, unity was the only way the humans were left with so Great Powers decided to join hands for this one big battle. It was clear even in the previous part that the unity of the Great Powers was temporary. This time the differences are finally taking over and the alliance comes to the brink of destruction. The new ships which they created together are far more expensive than the battleships that were created in the past.
So a single colony cannot bear the expenses of these ships. Meanwhile, the British colony gets a threat from the outside world and for investigation, HMS Invincible is called by the Royal Navy. All the old legends have disappeared from the scene and new faces emerge which means that a new era is going to start in the series.
INVINCIBLE
The author not only brings new faces on the hero side but there are new aliens as well who are going to enter the war very soon. Like Vanguard another ship named Invincible joins the Royal Navy and it is far more advanced as compared to the other ships present in the story before that.
