The first half of the book I was so pissed at Hades, because of the way he was treating Damien. Until Heath, threatened, his father, and Balto and Hades, came to the rescue. I cried for Damien, when he thought it was the end of his father. I felt his pain, while he was on the ground crying. But Hades, proved that he was a true friend after all. He and Baltimore helped Damien. Priceless. Then Damien and Hades finally made up. They’re friends again. Annabella, and Damien, made a beautiful couple, until Damien end it to keep her safe. But she doesn’t know that. So she went back to her cheating ex-husband. And Damien, had to watch he get married to him again. I felt his pain, then too. Because clearly he’s in love with her, but he just doesn’t know it. Will he finally find love in the next installment of this series? I sure hope so when “Second”, comes out. As for Heath, I liked him when he was first introduced as Haiti’s story as his identical twin. Now I can’t stand him. He’s so heartless, and mean. I hope that someone will knock him down to size in the next book.

I love books that keep my attention all the way through. I never had to gloss over unnecessary dialogue meant as a filler, or excessive details. I love this series so far and can’t wait for the next books. My only compliant is the wait, not because it’s a long one but because I’m anxious for the next one! I also wish the book were longer because I hate when they’re done!
I’d absolutely recommend it to everyone, and I love the author’s imagination and her writing.

Oh this is so good. I didn’t think that it got any better than Hades and Sofia. But Damien and Annabella is gonna be just as good with great characters and a lot of excitement. Can’t wait for book 6.

This book is amazing! I love that the story continues with Hades and Sofia, but thats what Penelope always does. My emotions about the characters were all over the place. At the beginning I was annoyed with Hades and his continued grudge. Then with Damien for being a stupid man and not keeping what was right in front of him. Lastly Annabella for such a moronic decision at the end of the book. This is the kind of book I love though, something that keeps me on an emotional roller coaster and always wondering what will happen next. Excellent work as always and I would definitely recommend.

Can this book be filled with any more drama? For the life of me I cannot recall what Damien’s fortune was in the first book. I get his reasoning but he loses Annabella in the process. The next book will hopefully shed some light. My heart is broken for Annabella. Oh, forgot the most important thing. I really do not like Heath….the Skull King. Also glad Hades and Damien FINALLY make up.
