Looking for an actioned packed adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seat? Or that summer romance filled with great characters and tons of drama? This is not that book.
This series had it all. Sit on the edge of your seat as we follow our favorite characters through three books worth of adventures. Watch as they heroically pick paint samples. Boldly select the location for the new dishwasher. Buy not one, but two pairs of shoes. And order food at restaurants, again and again and again.
Spoilers:
It all culminates with the dramatic appearance of the ultimate bad guy. A murderer so scary that he is the cause of all our main characters childhood traumas. A final confrontation so fraught, you will be biting your nails as our epically heroic heroine heroically frowns at him until he drives away.

Infinity Chronicles (Infinity Chronicles #3) audiobook streamming online
In a slow whirlwind of house renovation, reception planning, art class and some ability training, book three is engagingly uneventful, mostly focused on relationships and nesting. Its a pretty domestic story for a fantasy series.
Happily, this book explains more about the characters and their abilities in what feels like a reader Q&A session. Some of this information could have been shared more naturally through events, rather than one conversation. Whatever the delivery, filling the large information gaps adds some depth to the world-building and character development for the series.
Plot-wise, nothing much advances with the larger mystery of this series about the heroines past and mother. This book did give me a fright when I thought the heroine, Laura, was going to fall into damsel stupidity for an obvious cliffhanger. Thankfully that trope is sidestepped, and Laura recovers some sense.
The book has its warm moments with good dynamics between the characters. The decent writing adds realism or dimension to the interactions and events, which is far more noticeable with editing. Surprisingly, the art projects in this series resonate. Methinks, Albany has taught art at some point.
The heroes are engaging with more focus on Ollie and Milo, to balance out earlier books. As gorgeous as they are, the heroes remain pretty one-dimensional, with only some more depth to the characters of Ares and Dante. I guess that is hard to fix mid-series.
I do wonder how this reverse harem, while accepted in the fantasy world creation, can work in the ordinary school setting. After the relationships are willingly partly outed in this book, I expect writing the school life of the next book with any realism will be tough.
Overall, this book improves the series through more developed characters and relationships, despite limited action.
Three stars for a warm fantasy romance.

Audiobook Infinity Chronicles (Infinity Chronicles #3) by Albany Walker
I flew through the first two books in this series and I loved them! They were slowish to develop but after finishing book three Im still missing a lot.
Ive read a few other reviews on this book and Im glad Im not the only one feeling like this series isnt developing into what I thought it would.
I skimmed a lot of pages as I thought it would get more interesting/intense. But unfortunately nothing too exciting happens until the last few chapters of the book.. even then youre still left with nothing much answered since book 1.
Ill most likely continue this series as I hate not finishing something thats caught my attention. Hopefully every book from here on will pick up the pace or give some more action!

The books start off a little slowly. this author has a good story but she put way to much description into everything. I like description as much as the next person it just the action of the book slows with so much description. I don’t like the fact that don’t even get to go back into the ceremony to let the parents know what happened and to question her mother. I know that will be needed to draw the read into reading the next book, but I personally could die or forget about this series before the next book comes out. So it would have been nice to get that information about the mom. I only happened to remember reading it because my daughter mentioned she was just starting it. I hope I dont forget before she comes out with another book

This book continues the amazing adventure of Laura and her guys. We see her slowly make the connections to some of her Infinity. All leading to the big “party” announcing them all officially an Infinity. But of course as in life, NOT everything goes smoothly along the way. Keep your eyes open for a few surprises along the way and one whopper of a Big Bad. Prepare yourself for a doozy of a cliffhanger!!!! I for one CAN’T WAIT for the follow up! I’m desperate to see what Laura and her beloved do next! I’m guessing book four will be FILLED with action, suspense, and adventure….the countdown is on!!!
