What do you do when you are an unmarried, successful entrepreneur and you meet your high school nemesis while working on an island? Abi Andrews finds herself in this position when she sees Emily, and as usual Emily taunts her. Lorenzo, a chef working the same wedding as Abi, comes to her rescue, and a lie so big is born. These two are on their honeymoon. Not only do they have to do their jobs now, but they have to act like newlyweds in front of Emily! But can it be done? Will real feelings begin to grow? And what will happen when they have to leave the beautiful island? Lauren Landish completes the Andrews family trilogy making me laugh, blush and enjoy the antics of this couple. Abi is just the kind of person I would love to be friends with. Passionate about her work, confident in her abilities and knows she has to love herself first, she is someone to admire. Lorenzo, with that Italian accent, and fantastic alfredo sauce is the man you want in the kitchen! Their chemistry is off the charts. With glimpses of the other Andrew sibling and some secondary characters like Janey, Abi\’s best friend and Meredith the evil wedding planner, the story is everything I love to escape with! Landish is one of my favorites and books like this are just the reason! Carly Robins and JF Harding team up to narrate this story. Robins is such a joy to listen to. She really understands her characters, and each voice and personality she creates fits perfectly. Harding comes through with the most alluring of Italian accents and pulls us into his world of warmth and desire. These two compliment each other and give us a listen you can\’t help but love.

This is the first book I\’ve listened to in this series and if any of the other 2 are as good as this one is, I\’m missing out (but not for long!). This book was hilarious- Abi and her internal dialogue made me laugh out loud many times. And her interactions with her friends such as Janey? They were perfect. (please tell me Janey gets a book soon). And Lorenzo is swoon-worthy. I\’m sure that the book is fantastic but the audiobook brought it to the next level. Just listening to JF Harding and his accent? oh my. And Carly Robins is a strong narrator as always; both did a great job moving from character to character and accent to accent seamlessly. This story follows Abi as she has to pretend to be recently married to Lorenzo as part of a competition with an oddly obsessed high school enemy. Both she and Lorenzo are in Aruba to work in a wedding (she\’s a florist and he\’s a chef) and they face many obstacles (including a really mean wedding planner and the previously mentioned high-school enemy) during their time there but when they are together? It was sheer hilarious and steamy perfection. I didn\’t want to stop listening to the audiobook because I was having so much fun. I requested and received this book and now, I\’ll have to read/listen to the other 2 books in the series.

I really have enjoyed this series. Always fun characters but this book has two wild spirits who meet because it’s her best friends cousin from Italy. They have an instant connection. But fear has Lorenzo leaving. By chance they end up in paradise together and a whole crazy scheme came together about them on their honeymoon. They’re both their for work and come to the conclusion that they like each other. The craziness starts here and is very entertaining!!

I loved the narrators, their voice acting was great. The story, though, it’s been done so many times, I was just bored. I also was bored with the pu**y and co*k talk…that ship has sailed. I LOVED Drop Dead Gorgeous and wanted to read more of this author, but, I think I might need to take another look at her library.

While responding to the barbs of a snooty school rival. Abigail, the most free spirited and remaining unmarried Andrews sibling fakes a new marriage with Violet’s Italian cousin Lorenzo. The backdrop is Aruba while both working a celebrity wedding. This entertaining rom-com flows along with plenty of hot sex and developing romance. The stress of dealing with a nasty, unreasonable wedding planner, a mean girl former classmate, and a range of unexpected circumstances that wreak havoc with well laid planning along with snappy dialog make for a very good story. The narration of Carly Robbins and JF Harding is great when they stick with their own gender but a bit lacking with the opposite gender voice which can be distracting at times. Had they done a duet performance this would have received a perfect score but the story is too good to miss and well worth the credit if you enjoy a light hearted, clever, sexy romance.
