No Deals, Mr. Bond audiobook free
I have to say I enjoy the John Gardner 007 novels. Fast paced, action, great characters, nice thriller twists and centered in the 1980’s (when most were written) before their was the technology boom (cell phones,GPS, etc…) which to me keeps it old school Bond the way I like it. Most of the Gardner novels are page turners and this one falls into that category. This one gets a 4.5 star rating (close to 5). Bond is not saving the world in this one, but is on ‘solo’ mission from M and has to use his deduction skills right till the end.

No Deals, Mr. Bond audiobook in series James Bond The Collection John Gardner’s James Bond
Remember when I said John once s freed up a Bond book by making it too mission impossible? Well there is intrigue here but it’s handled better then icebreaker. Twist and turns but with logic and no cheesy twist for the sake of them. I particularly like bond slot in this, brave smart but finds himself in tough spots like always but it all feels familiar but fresh at the same time. Just behind a few other books from John and better then some fleming.

Predicted surprise sections but otherwise a good read. Needed more bond like gadgets to carry more fun to it. I recommend reading a few others before this one. Good look on your next Bond read!!!!

Not really very palatable. Boring, ongoing speaking without action or much character movement. If you want to take a nap, start listening to this one. Not like the original stories. Too bad.
