I\’m not sure if \”he said, she said they said,\” was in the written text but if the reader of this book said the words said one more time I thought I would scream. most readers change their voice for other people speaking and in many cases it\’s obvious that what is being said is being said by someone else. It drove me absolutely crazy
Couldn\’t stop listening at the beginning….then couldn\’t wait for it to end. Just ok.

What has happened to this author? This story is entirely lacking of the charm and warmth of her usual low country stories. What a waste of money. Dorothea Benton Frank this is an absolute fail. And the characters are awful! A total rip off and sell out.
