Book three in the Bridgewater County series is another amazing adventure that is a spinoff from the historical based Bridgewater Menage series but takes place in present day. The town of Bridgewater, Montana, still holds with the founding father principals of two or three alpha dominant males claiming and marrying one woman, and partnering for life. This method has proven successful for over a hundred years and why change what works? The story will read as a standalone. It does have characters from in books one and two. Ivy, Rory, and Cooper all went to school together. While the two boys knew that Ivy was their one, during high school, she dated Tom, but it wasn’t a serious relationship. They have since graduated, Ivy and Tom are no longer dating, and summer is coming to an end, and Ivy, Rory, and Cooper are together, in the back of a pickup truck out in Baker’s field, all three virgins, and this will be their night. Then the guys are shipping off to boot camp, and Ivy is leaving for college in Seattle. Fast forward seven years and lives have drastically changed. Rory and Cooper have experience war, injuries, and loss, but they are out of the service and back in Bridgewater looking for their girl. Ivy is no longer in Montana, having stayed in Seattle, but she has her secrets too. The plot will have Cooper and Rory returning from a seven-year stint in the military back to Bridgewater to open a helicopter business, and to find the woman that was to be theirs. Ivy had never returned to Bridgewater from Seattle, so it will take a trip to find her. Their reunion leaves Ivy in shock seeing the two men she loved and left behind. Can she have just one night with them for old times sake and say goodbye? “What we did was hot. Steamy. Wild. But it as more. It was—special.” Cooper and Rory have known since high school that Ivy was the one for them. Secrets will come to light, and now the three of them will be faced with new decisions. Now she will have to decide whether she will return to Bridgewater or will they move to Seattle. “All that matter is that we’re in your lives. However, you’ll have us.” No matter where they are they are not going to lose her again. They will be a family. “You’re trying to use your brain to figure out an issue of the heart.” “ There would always be risks in this life—the more I loved, the more I risked losing.”

Take Me Fast audiobook in series Bridgewater County
Cooper and Rory have come home after serving in the war in the Middle East. Rory is fine but Cooper isn’t he has changed after a helicopter accident. But now that they are back they want to find Ivy the girl that they had claimed just before they went in the army seven years ago. Jessie at the dinner tell them where she is. Ivy wasn’t expecting to see the two men from her past standing by her car when she comes out from her school. Now she has made the decision to see them for one night but everything is about to change because she has a secret. So enjoy another good read and don’t forget the audio for these books ! !

Audiobook Take Me Fast by Vanessa Vale
What a way to create a family! 4.5 rounded up to 5 stars. This story has more emotional interaction than others by this author that I have read; that put it over the top for me. This is one I will read again. Hot and steamy with an extra layer of love. Deducted 1/2 star for minor editing errors and because it felt too short.

So, this book was really similar to the first two books. Girl wants hot sex with boys. Boys want girl to marry them. Girl doesn’t want to give up life and career for boys….. *sigh* yeah, I need more than the same old story.

I like these short novels. I love the idea of a place where 2 straight guys and 1 straight woman is the norm. I am definitely a woman who could enjoy that kind of attention, but this was the best writing and best story of the first three in this series. The second was the weakest in my opinion.
