The Van Alen Legacy (Blue Bloods #4) audiobook free
Finally we have some action from the author that is not just suspense and thrills meant to draw out a series. It starts, interestingly enough, a year from when book 3 ends. Everyones off traveling the world, some on the run, some on the chase, others popping up miraculously to save the day. And its a guess that that someone will be super hot and rich. Despite being way better than the other novels, and well, I\’m still curious about the fact that Mimi is desperate to marry her brother, there seems to be a hitch. He doesn\’t want to. And she\’s found a new chew toy in Silver Blood, Kingsley. So the incest is gone for the moment, though there\’s a hint that it could return should the author wish to highten the tension again. So we\’ll leave it at that for now. I am a little miffed that Cruz pulled out a Deus Ex Machina and changed some rules. It wasn\’t a bad rule, just that it was pulled out and waved in our faces. So far we know Silver Bloods kill Blue Bloods and drain them completely. Without one drop of blood (which I haven\’t bought since the first book) the angelic vamps can\’t take the blood and implant the essence of that angel into a new life cycle. So they\’re dead. However one was able to sidestep this rule and implant their essence into a Red Blood (human). Qua? In the end, the main character is still bland and a pushover, the leading man isn\’t worth it, the queen bee/nemesis is the best character, and Bliss has been gone from school for a year without anyone caring. She also has a serious problem she takes care of by… going to pilates? Qua? This series should have been over by now. The author is clearly dragging the reader along. If I didn\’t have to \”read\” this for research I\’d have stopped by now. At least I can get driving and cleaning done while I listen.
