A Tale of Two Castles audiobook free
Before I picked this book up, I was confused by the reviews. Some people complained that it was too slow, but others said it was fine.
This is a fantasy book, and also a whodunit mystery. The first half is indeed slow, but only because it’s doing double duty to introduce the world and all the suspects. Once the crime occurs, things begin to happen quickly, and the tension skyrockets.
I didn’t catch this from the summary, but this is a retelling of Puss In Boots, if the Ogre was good and Puss was bad. (And really, in the original story, the ogre never hurt anybody.) and also a dragon Sherlock, because you can’t go wrong with that.
This is a lovely book, and I recommend it for anyone who loves both dragons and a good mystery.

Honestly, Meenore and ITs behavior/thoughts were my favorite part of the book. Lodie is interesting and grows on the reader as she matures. And the Count…I would just like to hug him.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and interesting. I loved Elodie’s character. I would definitely recommend this book. The reason I am giving this book only four stars is because it was a little slow to start, but otherwise this is a great book. There are some suspenseful moments, but all ages will like this.
