Diego is book 5 in the Outlaw Souls series and is best read in order.
When Ryder takes over the leadership of the MC, Diego is getting restless and decides to leave, in order to open a new chapter in Mercer, where he connects with med school student Misty. MCs are a sore subject to her, as she is connected to a rival MC through her brother and so doesn’t take kindly to discover Diego’s plans. Both MCs demand that they break off and a gang war is hanging over their heads when a ransom note turns up. Seems they have to work together to avoid bloodshed.
This read didn’t appeal to me quite as much as the other ones, we don’t get much to see of the Outlaws, it’s all about Diego in a new town. In the first part of the book,I felt that the dialogue is flippant, the language sloppy, a bit sexist at times, in an attempt to imitate biker slang, which feels a little over the top and put-on. I liked that the pace picked up in the second half with a suspenseful plot, a gang war in the making and these two conspiring to nip it in the bud by forming an alliance against a mutual enemy, ultimately uniting the rival MCs for a greater good. A satisfying ending for all parties involved rounds out the story nicely.

Hope does it again! I enjoyed this book with all the drama, tension, love, secrets and so much more. You actually feel like you’re one of the characters. Diego decides he needs a fresh start so with the Outlaw Souls blessing he branches off to start a new chapter in Mercer where he meets a beautiful Spanish woman in a bar. He finds out that she is the Mercer chapter Las Balas president’s sister. With war between the two clubs looming will their live last or be torn apart…that is if they survive?
I thought it was a great book but I missed all the other Outlaw Souls. I hope the other books have more of the originals in them.

Audiobook Diego (Outlaw Souls. #5) by Hope Stone
This is the 5th installment of the author’s Outlaw Souls MC, it can be read by itself but I suggest reading the entire series in order because you will get to see how some of the characters you fell in love with in previous books are doing, and all the books are amazing to read. This one is about Diego and Misty and their forbidden love affair. The author does an amazing job with the characters, she makes you feel their emotions as you are reading their story. There is plenty of angst, steamy love scenes, action, and suspense to keep you hooked till the very last page.

Hope stone has another winner in this installment of Outlaw Souls motorcycle club. In this book we meet Diego a nomad looking to find new roots. He is not happy in La Playa and found himself in Merced, CA ready to put down roots and start another chapter of the Souls. He meets Misty a girl going to Med School. It appears that they are perfect for each other but they both have secrets that can potentially destroy their relationship. Add in a local chapter of Los Balas and you have an explosion waiting to happen. You won’t be disappointed.
