Sylver and Gold audiobook free
When I first read the character names, I thought, “meh”. Then I read the synopsis and thought, “Larkin, is a very good author. I think this one will surprise me” . And it did! This is another well written book by Michelle Larkin. Reid, is a great detective with a big secret. She’s carried it around for a long time. It’s part of the reason she doesn’t realize how good she is, at her job.
Then London Gold comes along. She has a secret too. Actually, she has several.
The two women are thrown together and sparks fly. Sylver, wants nothing to do with a rookie, no matter how smart and pretty she is.
The chain of events that follow threatens to open the vault, spilling the secrets they’ve worked hard to keep hidden.
Will the exposure read them apart, or will it force them to rely on each other, to solve the case.
Don’t worry, sparks fly on the personal front too.
This book has been crafted, to pull you into the shoes of each character. It touches briefly on the subject of childhood trauma and the result of it, that follow these kids, for their lifetime.
If you are thinking of skipping over this one, think again. There is drama; Romance and excitement, written through the pages. Take a chance! I know you’ll like it!

Sylver and Gold audiobook streamming online
I bought this book on the rave reviews which I always read before purchasing a new novel. However, I must question the authors of these reviews, especially those who gave this atrocious book 5 stars! I read 65% of the book and could not go any further, as it started to seriously turn my stomach. How can any well-respected detective, who’s been on the job for 20 years, allow a rookie to take the lead on a serial murder case and to call the shots? Everything that Sylver stood for crumbles away in one, single day with her new partner, Gold? Seriously?? Gold is already proclaiming that she’s falling in love with Sylver in the first day??? HUH?
The dialogue is extremely childish, and I had a really hard time believing that adults truly think and talk like this, especially seasoned homicide detectives.
Although I haven’t finished this book yet … and I may never … I had to write this truthful and honest review of an immature novel. This is not a 5 star book worth $9.99….sorry to say. It’s rather disappointing as I’d high hopes to it.

Audiobook Sylver and Gold by Michelle Larkin
The writing starts out a bit chaotic, but once I got used to the writing style, which I wasn’t sure about at first, I actually enjoyed the book quite a bit. The strong character development really got me through what I felt was a bit of a rough start, it didn’t take long for me to be emotionally invested in the main character.
I liked how even though the book dealt with some heavy subject matter, and handled it well, it didn’t feel like a dark or depressing read. It was exciting and engaging. It was also funny, kept me laughing throughout. And it did all that without trivializing trauma.
Things I’d recommend for improvement: create more clarity on the first chapter, I was confused until I reread and got through chapter two. Everything after that had good clarity though.
London’s character was great, but parts of the book were from her POV and I felt like there was a missed opportunity to get inside her head and understand her better. Her story was told, not so much shown, but Sylvers story was shown really well.
Over all, this was a really fun read and I’m glad I bought it. It’s one of the few books I might read again one day.

Audio Sylver and Gold narrated by Keira Grace
This story is a copycat of Gerri Hills book, Hunters Way. The similarities are just too many to doubt. Except for the interesting angle in this book about the MC being able to see and communicate with dead people. Sadly this story laced the overall depth that one needs to truly appreciate the story.

I could not put this book down! The two main characters chemistry is fun and even made me laugh out loud. The story keeps you on your toes and you won’t want to do anything but read to figure out who it is.
