The Lost Tide Warriors audiobook free
Oh. My. Gosh. Reading this book, I laughed out loud. I ugly cried. It was a wild ride all the way through, and I loved every minute of it.
While Fionn wrestles with his unresponsive magic and his fears about failing the island, hes surrounded by spunky, quirky characters. So theres this constant balance between serious and silly that I thought really worked.
I love the way the whole community was involved in the battle to save the island. This isnt one of those books where the hero has to go solo despite everyone telling him to go to bed or stop pestering them with prophesies of certain doom. Fionn definitely fights his own battles, but the community rallies around him. I found that really refreshing and awesome.
Altogether, this is a totally worthy sequel to THE STORM KEEPERS ISLAND, which was one of my favorite books last year. I can tell this is a series Im going to be talking about and recommending far and wide.
If you liked A SNICKER OF MAGIC by Natalie Lloyd or THREE TIMES LUCKY by Sheila Turnage, or you are breathing and love a good story, please add this series to your reading list.

Audiobook The Lost Tide Warriors by Catherine Doyle
Because gratitude for what we have been gifted is the antidote to the grief we feel when we must give it back.
I really, really enjoyed The Storm Keeper’s Island, but I absolutely loved The Lost Tide Warriors. The build up of the story is so well done as all the elements come crashing together towards the end. I love Fionn and his grandfather, Malachy. Their bond is so wonderful. It’s great to see Fionn come into his own a bit although he still has a way to go. I like that he isn’t an instant hero, but has to work to learn to use his magic. Tara and Bartley are still annoying and I’m hoping they will finally grow up and become better people in the last book. I’m not sure I could read this one aloud to my kids through my tears, but I’ll definitely be saving it for them when they are a little older. I do recommend this for older middle grade readers. The battle scene is an intense one. I can’t wait to read the epic conclusion of the series so I’ll be diving right into The Storm Keepers’ Battle next.

Audio The Lost Tide Warriors narrated by Patrick Moy
Started off slow, and gradually built. Excellent characters, my enjoyment of this book surprised me and I want to read the next one! a classic good vs evil story where you desperately want good to win as evil is just too nasty to keep around.

I always wanted to know if it was possible to laugh and cry at the same time… It is… this book is simply amazing. It engaged my 9 year old for hours. He has read it twice waiting for the Third book to be released.
