If you’re looking for a light, fluffy, fantastical and romantic story, this is your book. Don’t expect any depth of plot or suspenseful crises. It’s written in a very elementary, simplistic style, and all problems seem to resolve themselves with amazing ease. The time frame is narrow, starting at the Netherfield ball and going on for a few weeks after. Having read the book description, I was prepared to suspend belief and just go with the fantasy of body switching and role reversal. It’s a cute idea, but there was a certain “yuck factor” when it got into the issues of menstruation for the female and involuntary arousal for the male. The story goes for just a tad too much realism and crosses a boundary into icky when describing bodily functions.
Inhabiting each other’s bodies seems to accelerate the process of overcoming reservations about the other. Elizabeth goes from despising Darcy to falling in love within a few days, and likewise Darcy forgets all his arguments against forming an attachment even more quickly. Even the question of how to get back to their own body just suddenly solves itself without fanfare or effort.
If you’ve just read a heavy and involved book and need something light hearted for a change of pace, then maybe this story is worthwhile. But be prepared for something rather shallow and thin.

I never like the books with switched characters but I bought this one by mistake so I just read it.
I loved it because it was so comical. The love part was quickly resolved but the switch took the
entire book. Darcy as Elizabeth and Elizabeth as Darcy was indeed a cute premise.

Of the stories I have read where ODC switches bodies this is the best. They each took the time in the others body to learn what their life was really like and it lead to a great understanding of what each had to go through.

Audio Through Each Other’s Eyes narrated by Siobhan Waring
I really enjoyed this book it was a refreshing new way to look at ODC, I have to say it was a little steamy but I liked it and it was funny with Elizabeth trying to overcome the difficulties with being a man and having a mans response. Yes if I was in a mans body I sure would explore and Im sure a man would do the same thing. I lol when Darcy as Elizabeth experienced a mensuration it was so well written.

It’s light and fluffy, no angst or suspense (as we are certain everything will work out for ODC). Getting switched into one another’s bodies is a shock and an enlightenment for both Darcy and Elizabeth. It certainly gets them to talk to one another – at first out of desperation, then finally admitting they enjoy each other’s company – which gets them over canon’s obstacles.
When Elizabeth laughs at Darcy’s consternation over the start of “her” menses, I had to chuckle as well. What female hasn’t had THAT thought, LOL!
We all know it’s going to end well, but this is a pleasant JAFF to spend a couple of hours on.
